I didn't really like this one! Maybe I need to listen to it again, but so far, I am not moved. I Love Maxwell, but this one didn't do it for me!

This is my first Maxwell album, while I've really liked some of his songs, Fortunate and This Woman's Work...listening to others Maxwell music, how many wasn't bumpin Maxwell through all of his cds, not many who like good music. Some say they miss the old Maxwell, well, this is on point, so soothing...it's the live instrumentation that's so different and very refreshing...his authentic heart and soul being shared. if Rnb is to return and take its rightful place, then we better get back to the basics and that's just what Maxwell has done. No gimmicks, computer generated empty music, tracks with vocals, this is what music is about...pure soul!

I can't wait for the next two installments, this franchise is sure to make other artists think and stop putting out crap, spend the money, time and respect and create some classic and profound music...bout time!

My long wait for something new from Maxwell in over 8 years has not diminished my love for his voice & music. It is refreshing to hear real R&B/neo soul. Thank you Maxwell for an awesome record!

Oh my! I have been waiting for years for Maxell to return and I am so very happy that he has. Now as far as this CD, I have to admit, I was not impressed. I felt it lacked his typical "luster" and "passion". I wrote it off to him getting back into the "biz" again and being a little rusty or maybe new writers or writer's block. I can ONLY hope that his next CD will be like his older music...Please bring back the "soulful" Maxwell and I hope we don't have to wait as long as we did for this one! We miss you!
